#AfricasBiggestBookProject Narrator Spotlight: Femi Longe

Femi Longe is an Entrepreneur with over 14 years under his belt as a Learning Experience Designer, Social Innovator, Facilitator and Enterprise Consultant focused on African transformation through socially responsible businesses.


Femi Longe is the Co-Founder of Co-Creation Hub (CcHub) and Director of its Open Living Labs. CCHub, which was launched in 2011, is Nigeria’s foremost social innovation centre dedicated to accelerating the application of social capital and technology for economic prosperity in Nigeria. 

It currently has 22 ventures in its pre-incubation portfolio, and has established partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders including Omidyar Network, Google, Nokia, The Tony Elumelu Foundation, BlackBerry, Schmidt Family Foundation and Samsung.

Over the years, Femi has delivered co-creation solutions to develop innovative ideas for clients including Visa, the World Bank, British Council, UK Department for International Development.

Femi was a leader in AIESEC, the world’s largest student-run leadership development organization and, as Director for Africa, he led the organization’s strategy and operations across Africa having previously been National President of AIESEC in Nigeria.

With a degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Femi has over the years developed a solid reputation as an efficient, reliable and extremely competent project leader and visionary. He has functioned in diverse capacities across the world and held essential roles, some of which include Business Development Manager at Growing Business Foundation where he designed and delivered micro-credit projects and capacity building initiatives for people in Nigeria; Facilitator for Go Africa, Go Germany, a 3-week learning experience across Nigeria for young people from Germany and West Africa working with a range of experts to increase understanding about the realities of Nigeria.

A runner-up at Social Innovation Camp, Femi is a Certified Facilitator, Managing Partner, Africa++ Limited, UK, and Project Lead, UpRising Leadership Programme at The Young Foundation, UK. He was co-convener, New Ideas for Africa series in London, Johannesburg, and Lagos, as well as  a member of Young Leader’s Network, a partnership with Africa Initiative of the German Presidency.

An avid traveler who has visited or lived in close to 40 countries thus far, Femi says he finds his raison d’etre in assisting individuals by intersecting their personal passions with global needs.
