Briefly: Here's What Buhari Will Be Doing During His Visit To The U.S

Starting Monday, July 20, President Buhari will meet with President Obama and the Chairman of the United States Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Martin Dempsey and the Deputy Secretary of Defence, Robert Work on military and defence cooperation.
Thereafter, he will meet with Vice President Joe Biden; confer with the US Attorney-General, the US Secretary of Treasury, the US Secretary of Commerce, and the US Trade representative for support against corruption and boost bilateral trade relations.


He will also hold meetings with the Secretary of State, United States Senate and Congressional Committees on Foreign Relations as well as the Black Caucus of the United States House of Representatives.

He has scheduled various meetings with the United States Chamber of Commerce and Corporate Council for Africa, Nigerians in the American Diaspora and a reunion session with members of the American War College Class of 1980.

PMB and his entourage will depart Abuja on Sunday 19th July to Washington DC and   due back in Abuja on Thursday, July 23, 2015.

He will be accompanied by Governors of Imo, Nasarawa, Edo, Borno and Oyo States as well as the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and Permanent Secretaries of the Federal Ministries of Defence, Foreign Affairs, Industry, Trade and Investment.
