Breaking News: Buhari Orders the Disposal of 9 Presidential Aircraft!

President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly ordered the disposal of nine of the VIP presidential aircraft fleet, eight of which were reserved only for Mr. President.

The president gave the sales order to reduce the annual maintenance cost of the aircraft billed at N12 billion annually.  

Among the presidential aircraft is a Boeing 737 BBJ, NAF 001 or Eagle, which has a current market price of about $100 million, with luxury configuration of a master bedroom, washrooms, showers, conference, dining and living areas,
A Falcon 900, which is also in the fleet , costs $35 million; Gulfstream IVSP – $40 million; Gulfstream V – $45 million; Cessna Citation – $7 million; and the Hawker Siddeley – $15 million.
