#DoingGood: Please Support This Back To School Project

-->
People,

Eku holiday :)

So, one of my mentees is working on a back to school project for children in several schools within Lagos state. To make this happen, we need you help. Please read about the initiative below and donate 'as the spirit leads you'. :)

GENO Hope Alive Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization, is planning to kick off its Annual Back-To-School Campaign at the end of October as one of our initiatives in educating and empowering vulnerable children in our society.

At the beginning of a new school session, numerous children from disadvantaged homes resume to school unequipped due to the poverty ravaging their family and this has an adverse effect in their perspective towards learning. It is our joy to provide these children with the basic materials that will aid in bringing out their maximum potential academically.

Prior to the annual Campaign, 200 indigent children from vulnerable families will be identified and each will be provided with a comprehensive school kit made up of a school bag, water bottle, lunch plate, a dozen exercise books, stationery, crayons and mathematical set.

Proposed target – 200 children

Proposed date of Execution – October 2014

You can sponsor a child by donating the amount for a full kit as captured below:

1 School Bag Cost = 2,500naira
1 Biro Cost = 20naira
1 Mathematical Set= 170naira
1 School Sandal = 700naira
1 Rain Coat = 950 naira

Or as a corporate organization, you can donate cash or useful branded items like raincoats, notebooks etc.

For enquiries or donations, please send an email to olayinka_odumosu@yahoo.com or call Olayinka Odumosu (Project Coordinator, GENO Hope Alive Foundation) on 0809 733 7915
Thank you for your support.
